Valentine Project #2-Heart Box

I altered a Kinder Surprise Heart box. I really like how it turned out!
1. Open the box up totally and put a layer of glue over the whole box.2.Lay it on a 12x12 piece of patterned paper. It will JUST fit the paper!3. Simply cut it out after it dries. Put it back together and embellish it however you choose.4.Fill with yummy treats and give to a loved one!!
Let me know if you try this! I'd love to see your creation!

Yay, tomorrow's Friday!!! I've had a super -duper SNOW DAY today and did a lot of tutorials!!! Whew!!! I'm hoping to do layouts this weekend! But, I just might do more tutorials...don't know!
Oh, and here's our baby!!!

She's sleeping in my arms while I'm on the computer! It's REALLY hard to type when she's there! But I'd rather have her there and type REALLY bad than not have her there!!! :o)This is Meika with her "dad"!!!!! He loves her dearly!!!

Valentine Project #1-Love Hearts

This is a very easy project!!! VERY easy!!
~done for A Spoon Full of Sugar blog

You will need:
~Love Heart candies
~patterned paper
~2-way adhesive tape
~ribbon
~tag
~other items to embellish

1. Cut your paper to the size 4 X 3 1/4. Roll the paper along the edge of your table so that when you put it around your candy it will stay on there better.2. Add adhesive tape to both sides on the back.
3. Tape one end along the edge of the candy.Roll it around and tape the other end.4. Tie a ribbon and tag around it and use any embellishments you wish.

See, I told you it was EASY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I have more projects to share but I'll post them all sometime between now and Valentine's Day!!

With Love...

I've had such a fun month at Scrapbooker's Club House this month. Thanks to all you wonderful ladies there running the show! You do a totally wicked job!!!! I am so sad to know that it's ending in just a few days. I have one more Saturday to post my questions and kudos and I'm done. Whaaaa. I absolutely loved it. But as they say, "All good things must come to an end." But that doesn't mean I'm leaving the forum, not a chance!!! :o)

NO SCHOOL TODAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! So that means I'm going scrapping (and washing clothes!!!!Pttttt).

Hmmm...will I get another SCRAP day tomorrow, I wonder???

There's a storm brewing, "they" say, and it will hit all of Newfoundland!!! So...wonder what the situation will be for schools? If there's no school ,then that means another scrapping day for MOI!!!!! ...If I don't get SICK!!! Alexander was up Monday night throwing up for HOURS and I'm feeling a little queasy myself this evening! So, I'm wondering if I'm coming down with it too!!! Fight it girl, fight it!!!!!

Here's my LO for Scrapping Out Loud this week. It's a 5+5+5+5+5 challenge!!! Go see what the heck that's all about!!! It was definately a challenge but one I totally enjoyed doing!!! If I'm scrappin' I'm happy!!!

Valentine's Day Double Pouch Gift Bag

You will need:
~1 sheet of double-sided patterned paper
~Double-sided tape
~2 pieces of ribbon, approx. 12 inches each
~embellishments to finish your gift bag
~tools such as scor-pal, bone folder but not really necessary as you can fold them quite easily without them.

1.Choose a double sided 12x12 piece of patterned paper. Score each side around 1 inch. Add some double-sided tape. Fold down and adhere. 2. Turn the paper so that the folded edges are at the top and bottom and facing you. Fold over one side so that it's around the middle. It's NOT important that it's exact.

3. Then fold the other side over so that you will get about 1/2- 1 inch flap where you can add some tape.
It should look like this when these steps are done. 4. You are now ready to make the "pouches". Fold it in 1/2 so that the the sealed edge is OUTSIDE first. Then to make the "W" shape, score it 3/4 on each side of the middle fold.

5.Then fold them so that it looks like this and that your "good" side it outside and the sealed edge is once again inside.6. Once that is done, you are ready to punch holes in the outside layers on top and bottom about 1 inch from the edge. DON'T punch through both layers.
7. Cut 2 pieces of ribbon and poke then through the holes from the outside and you can either fasten the ribbons with brads or tie a knot on the ends.I used brads. 8.Add some tape to the inside top edge and tape the 2 edges together.

9. You are now ready to embellish it as you desire. You can add a card to one pouch and a little gift in the other pouch (such as a gift card). Here's my finished double pouch gift bag.
I have a Christmas pouch like this posted on my Christmas Cards All Year 'Round blog.
*I initially saw this idea HERE a couple of years ago. Check out her blog! Great ideas!
